This was something I completed after the discharge pieces in 2006. I was still stuck on the idea of varnishing the fabric to canvas. This was a sort of experiment, using habotai silk in a couple different thinknesses. You can tell some areas are more sheer than others. It has an interesting affect. Though I haven't been moved to try any more of this type yet.
