Ok, so this picture turned out much darker than I thought. But this is something I just started. I'm thinking it's going to change dramatically, but at least I pieced together a foundation to build on. I ventured from my norm....I added some commercial fabric. The only thing I've used commercial fabric for in the past few years has been quilts....so we'll see. So far, I'm just using a sheer fabric with lightly printed images, so the dye color show through a bit from the fabric they are layered on top of. Who knows, I may scrap this still. I'm trying to work small lately b/c I'd like to enter a National Small Quilt exhibition (max size 16 x 20!) this summer. So far, nothing wonderful has resulted from my working small.
